Bug Collector Beginnings
From a young age, Matt has always been interested in bugs. Not only killing them, though! He’d spend summers in his hometown of Wentzville, Missouri, collecting and studying them.
Career in Pest Control
After high school, Matt decided he’d pursue a career in pest control—bugs were his passion, and he knew he could help friends, family and neighbors control the pests that plagued their homes and businesses. For nearly 20 years, Matt worked for a pest control company. Yet, a desire to be his own boss and to deliver an even greater level of service nagged at him.
New kind of Company is born
With so much experience, Matt knows there’s not one type of Missouri pest he cannot eliminate or control. However, pest control extends beyond bugs and rodents—it’s also about great customer service.
Therefore, when he set out to form his own company, Hometown Pest Solutions, he decided there’d be no contracts. “I want the privilege of servicing a customer’s home because they’re happy with the experience and the results, not because they signed a piece of paper,” says Matt.
